Well if you want to be picky, lulz is a word so saying that's old is like saying "new" is old.

I was referring to how both the rickroll and lulz came from 4chan :\

People really don't get what a Rick Roll is anymore. Most of my friends think that when the song comes on the radio, they've been Rick Roll'd. It's only legit if you've been tricked into hearing it, hence the glory days of the youtube links. This is just tomfoolery from a man who wants internet props.

It's not a Rick Roll without the video, and even then it's under the impression of what you're clicking is a link for something else.

Not only that, but after 2 days I can see something like this getting really fucking annoying. Standard bells piss me off enough, much less a song. Having to listen to the same song every time you switch classes isn't funny regardless, it's just asshattery.
In summary, the guy who did this is an idiot.

It would only have been a Rickroll if he switched the bell with the song without anyone knowing beforehand. Idiot.
e: Bell sould have been Party Hard.

I don't imagine they'll keep using that bell for too long, people will get sick of it.

Yeah because lulz is so much newer.
Actually, lul means "dick" or "asshole" in my language (= dutch), depending on the context (it really does!).

A different way of using an expression isn't the same as playing "never gonna give you up" multiple times a day claiming that you're rick rolling someone when you're just a faggot who thinks you're funny and you're doing it wrong.

Slightly funny. But after a while it'd just get boring and retarded.

In primary school I used to do cricket and lawn bowls for P.E. The school principal played for the local bowling club and had won many medals over his years of his playing lawn bowls, so I paired up with him. Anyway, a few weeks of lawn bowls and I challenged him to a bet; "alright sir, if I win I get to ring the morning, lunch2 and home-time bell"
He accepted. It was first to 15 or 2 clear.
I won, 15-3.
The next week, I was in charge of the school bells. Morning bell, Lunch 2 bell and home time. I put together a cd containing 3 songs;
Morning bell was the power rangers theme song, Lunch bell was New level - Pantera and home-time bell was Schools out.
I was happy with the change, but it only lasted a day, they took the cd drive out of the machine so I couldn't play cds on it D:
