I have recently had the Samsung Omnia, which has got Windows Live Messenger on, I setup my hotmail account on there by mistake, and that added all of my Messenger contacts to my address book which I didnt want.

So I deleted them all, but I am guessing that was linked with the online version... Now I have got about 5 contacts, I did have about 200. And some of those people are my best friends and I have got no other way of contacting them... So in other words I have lost A LOT of people... http://www.msghelp.net/images/smilies/msn_sad.gif

I am hoping Microsoft will restore my contacts with a backup if they have one, I have emailed them asking them.

I keep a backup of my friends list just in case anything happens. I dunno if MS will help you, hopefully they will.

Someone on MSN Plus forums just told me I can add everyone who have me added and stuff if I have MSN Plus. And I have got MSN Plus, and I have got everyone back :D

He can have my babies. Lol.
