How do we know it was a fish if he was unconscious? Terrible journalism.

Fish tend to stay away from objects speeding across the top of the water.

Seth Russell, 15, was cruising Lake Chicot in Arkansas on a large inner tube towed by a boat when a Silver Asian carp leaped from the water and hit him in the face. Seth was knocked unconscious.
Did you read the article? His parents would have seen it. >_>

I highly doubt a carp jumped out of the water and hit him the face, because we all know bottom feeders love skipping across the top of the water.
