Linky. (http://blog.putplace.com/2008/08/26/when-bad-things-happen-to-good-computers/)

I found the burnt G5 to be the most shocking since my mom has one literally a floor under me.

So...post your destroyed computer stuff I guess xD.

Most of that burned stuff was from external fire.

The worst accident for me was spilling coke all over my keyboard. The keys all got fucked, so I had to get a replacement.

My friend dropped his brand new laptop on the corner edge of the screen. Cracked and looked horrendous, I took a picture but it was mostly out of frame (he didnt want me to take picture) I'll try to find it.

God, I wish I had the sense to photograph some of the technocarnage at my school... I used to help out High-School network and PC tech with her work sometimes, we'd have kids bring in busted laptops, cracked LCDs, burnt towers, sledge-hammered CRTs and all kinds of shit... This brings back memories...

I know Shuttle started putting glass plates infront fo their LCDs to protect them and ease the cleaning process. I wonder why it never picked up for the home/non-travel LCDs.

Stupid sister spilled milk on her T61's keyboard, nothing happened. She was being stupid and broke the screen too, was hanging on wires instead of hinges. She had to pay her university $500 to get the piece of shit fixed. Leave it to UOIT to fuck you over and MAKE YOU PAY $1500 for a piece of shit Thinkfag every fucking year.

$500? Apple charges $1,200 for screen repairs on Macbook Pros. Especially amusing considering you can buy the OEM glossy screen (the same ones Apple uses) for like, $200-$300 and install it yourself with about 2 hours of work.

I sooooooo did not drop a maglight on my mom's laptop screen btw.
