so i just went to the dentist today for the 1st time since 2002.

lemme start by saying i brush my teeth multiple times a day, don't floss very often, but i thought i was doing a good enough job..

anyway, my breath started so smell pretty bad, even a few minutes after brushing, and i thought it was because of a broken tooth...

i go today and i have severe gum disease :( forgot the name, but some form of acute gingivitis.

had to get scraped and drilled like a mother fucker, fucking shit hurt so bad, and i was bleeding buckets...

now i have to use a special prescription rinse and use a electric tooth brush... and go back in 2 weeks for more scraping and shit, if they don't see some improvements... ill have a whole nother mess on my hands..

on the plus side, no cavities.

anyway, lesson learned, GO TO THE DENTIST at least once a year, every 6 months is recommended.

Oh joy. I got clean gums, but my teeth are crooked as fuck and I have about 2 cavities. Despite the fact I brush every morning!

Same here, sort of. I have light gum disease, but never had a cavity. Flossing is uber important. Srsly.

All depends on your diet tbh. I don't eat much sugar, I brush a couple minutes every night, floss every couple of days. It's hard to test the smell of my own breath, but I don't think it smells that bad.

I have fucked up half-brit teeth + I had meningitis a few days after I was born, which fucked up my teeth apparently.

So yeah, I have a few crowns and some fillings. One or two partially crooked teeth, but that's it.

Brush your teeth at least two times a day or you will get mouth AIDS. And drink fucking Listerine. It helped me!

I use ACT restoring mouth wash every morning after I brush. I can't eat anything for 30 minutes but it is slowly turning my teeth pearl white.

on the plus side, im fucking so glad i went, because for the 1st time in so long, my mouth actually feels good, and after brushing and flossing and using the rinse, my mouth feels wonderful.

if i can actually keep this routine up and get my mouth back to normal, ill be so happy... not to mention i wont be embarrassed to talk to poeple for fear they smell my nasty breath.

My teeth don't have any major problems (to my knowledge... but uh, I'm like bacon havent been there in a while the dentist that is.)

Last time I went I had a cavity (minor, nothin at all really..) I brush my teeth at least twice a day usually (theres a few exceptions... but w/e) and I use mouthwash when ever I have it after brushing (usually run out and wont have it for a few days or a week...).

I don't usually flause, at all, mostly because I dont have any and im lazy I guess lol...

But yeah, I don't usually have smelly breath (unless I forgot to brush or ate somethin wierd)... I get bad mourning breath thats about it...

so i went back for my checkup today, and the good news is, the gingivitis is gone , and she was very happy to see what she called a 100% improvement in my gums.

bad news is i had to get scraped to hell again, and it hurt like a mother fucker.

also, i have a small cavity that they somehow missed the last time around... so i have to go back eventually to get it filled.

but im happy, i have a super sore mouth right now, but meh, its better than having a rotten mouth.
