I'm having a small problem with my panel applets in gnome in Ubuntu- it's nothing too important, but it's kinda annoying.
The problem is my clock applet broke, and I can't figure out how to fix/replace it. When the panel launches, I get this message:
The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_ClockApplet".
I've searched on this error, with no results. It's just a minor inconvenience to not have a clock visible on my panel.
I think I can fix this by replacing the file /usr/lib/gnome-panel/libclock-applet.so -- does anybody have this, and if so could you send it to me? If not, anybody have any other suggestions for how to fix my panel, without reinstalling gnome?
Or maybe somebody could give me a good reason why I should switch to KDE?
