McCain is obviously one who can keep a temper enough not to go to war. Take it easy there, geezer, your heart might stop.

I understood "of course", but he is whispering slightly, so I may have heard wrong.

First of all, that makes no sense, and second, watch his lips.

I hated that the whole debate was basically candidate A makes statement, candidate B smiles and chuckles, then retorts, while candidate A smiles and chuckles, repeat.

"Of course" could have been in a sarcastic tone...

Anyways, I didn't read his lips so there ya go.
Nice tie.

The debate last night was a travesty, the attempts to discuss issues on Obama's part were transparently futile.

McCain's answers seemed to consistently dodge the question in preference for a string of poorly connected anecdotes that were so obviously coached and dramatized you couldn't help but feel ashamed to be the target of such nonsense. The strategy in the McCain camp clearly being to make as many attempts as possible to catch the 15 seconds that the media can recycle over and over as sole evidence of victory. The line up of preconceived, ineffective zingers delivered dripping with fear and loathing made John's performance difficult to loose to. Although at times it seemed like Obama was really trying to tick off the base with his over-emphasis on terror-hunting, there's no doubt he's forgiven.

What Senator Obama doesn't understand is that Senator Obama doesn't get that Senator Obama doesn't comprehend that Senator Obama doesn't know the difference between strategies and tactics. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c251/CN3089/Emoticons/emot-downsowned.gif

Welcome to politics. You don't vote for the one who is the best, you vote for the one who is the least bad. In any case its going to be close this year.
