The comments on the Vinnitsa one disgust me. "hurr all germans are bad we should have exterminated them"

what do you think they were trying to do to us you dumb cunts, being just as ignorant isn't going to make you better

e/ they need the fuzzy wuzzy angel photo

Pretty cool find, though a few were less enjoyable than the others to watch.

Was the mouse with a human ear real?

Sites like this remind me of why the internet scene is so detestable. It's unfortunate people take the useful tool, the net, and turn it into their playground to release all of their stupid thoughts they can't seem to get rid of in the real world.

Always have and always will love the photo "Afghan Girl." It is one of if not the greatest picture I've ever seen.

Ok, I'm sorry if I sound like a dumbass, but I don't understand why this picture is famous. Is it because she has green eyes?

Also, most of the pics are sad, made me sad :/.

Geez, a lot of these are kind of disgusting. There's a lot of moving stuff in there though.

I could tell you why, but I dont really feel like it right now so I'll let this guy do it.

August 27th, 2008 at 5:24 am (http://photosthatchangedtheworld.com/afghan-girl/#comment-429) From a aesthetic point of view the photo it is perfect with pleasing composition, contrast between each element, beautiful lighting and tonal reproduction, intriguing facial expressions etc. What makes this photo truly special is the story of the behind it. It attempts to create awareness to the plight of one of Afghanistans many Shia minorities (In this case the Hazara tribe); it encaptulates the numb feeling of decades of persecution under a Taliban regime that believed such tribes were ‘infidels’, although the eyes also seem to hold a certain hope - and yes they are incredibly beautiful eyes!
But of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If the picture doesn't do it for you, that's okay, It stands out to me though.

it's because just in her face and eyes you can see the effect of being caught in a war for her entire life.

I'm not reading the comments any more. The level of antisemetism is disgusting.

If your going to try and deny the Holocaust, try and actually back that up with facts instead of "LOL JEWS DESERVED IT !!!1!"

Fuckers.

Funnily enough, I find the ones who go over the top with it just as fucking revolting. "UUUUGHH THIS [referring to something unoffensive] IS OFFENSIVE TO THE JEWS, I'M NOT JEWISH BUT" - stop right there and shut the fuck up, seriously

I keep matching up the titles underneath each picture instead of the ones on top for some reason, and until I realized I was doing that I was really confused. :(

Cool find.

Holy shit at the 5 year old mother one.
