600 MB seems small these days, does that mean the demo is about 5 minutes worth of game play?

The UTIII demo is only 992mb... so I wouldn't say so...

Well, if anybody is willing to try this, I'd like to know if it's worth the download or not.

Yeah, I don't want to go first. Someone care to post a review? :-)

Guess I'll give it a shot...
Edit: Although my review will mostly have to be on gameplay because I'm sure I can't run it at full graphics.
Edit 2:
So here's the deal. Don't download. Five second demo pretty much covers it, and nothing real exciting even happens. You're pretty much in a cave chasing after some guy with a ton of other guys shooting at you. I know that sounds like I'm leaving something out, but I'm really not. Has some interesting concepts like ducking for cover GoW style changing from First to Third Person views, but I don't think it's pulled off quite as well as it could have been. Overall the demo was rather lame, the coolest part was a video at the end showing some other parts off from the game... and maybe if they would have had some of those (seemed to have a large city level) I might be more impressed.
So yeah, don't download, not worth your time or effort.

Ha, I knew it. There's no way 600 MB demo these days could warrant more than 5 minutes (MP demos don't count) worth of gameplay.

Some of the trailers for the game look pretty good though. Either way I'm gonna pick this game up. I've done so with every Bond game since Goldeneye.

Nightfire.
Nightfire was awful. :gonk: PC version was too glitchy and console versions were too tedious and boring...

If only Agent Under Fire were on PC. The AI was awful, but the game was still really fun.

What?
The PC version was shit, but when I played it on my gamecube I had so much damn fun. The AI started running into walls occasionally, but other than that I had no problems with them.
Easily one of my favourite console shooters.

I've only played Nightfire a few times, on Xbox, but it was a great game.

I loved playing Nightfire with my friends on the Gamecube back in the day. Though I didn't know anything about game back then so I though any game was awesome.
Not really impressed by this too much, might rent it or something.

I sincerely hope the demo doesn't reflect on the overall quality of the full game. Or worse, the quality Treytrach's other game, COD5...

ok i just finished playing it and it actually is pretty cool.
it has some realistic things, like at one part a bick structure falls into a brick wall and the bricks break at the right time and all.
it generally plays like cod 4 but you can easily tell the difference
Q is now the melee button, and G is to throw a grenade, i also get better fps in cod 4 as well.
The graphics are pretty decent, visually just a little less the cod 4
but the game plays really good, imo
oh and the demo is only like 5 minutes long, so i could be wrong on a number of these things

^ It gets a lot of bad rep for the mediocre campaign and shitty AI, but the multiplayer was surprisingly fun (especially with the grappling hook <3)

Nightfire.
The MP in NF was :awesome:, I had a blast with just playing with the AI. Or maybe I'm thinking AUF? Which ever one had the level where there was snow and a monorail type thing b/w each base

That was nightfire. So much damn fun, too bad one of my friends lost my game disc, so I'm definitely heading out sometime to pick myself up another copy for like 5$

Q-Claw for the fucking win. My friends and I would play HOURS and HOURS of Q-Claw/Pistol battles, god it was fun...

Pistols? Screw that, in my day it was all about Q-Claw SSR-4000 fights.

This is being developed by Treyarch on the COD4 engine. Surprise, surprise.
