Yea, the characters were botted using the RaF system that Blizzard started a few months ago. At least that's what my other source says.

That person has no life, even from the point of view of a Wow player. No offense intended to those of you who do play Wow.

He must certainly have enough of a life to pay for something like this.

I don't think this is pathetic as much as it is impressive. He's managed to effectively make an rpg into an rts.

His setup is rather inefficient though. Better setup: Mac Pro with 8 screens and a laptop, 4 chars per screen. That way he doesn't have to constantly switch between keyboards/trackballs, whether they're in his octopus array or not, and there aren't billions of separate pieces of hardware/software installations to manage. The laptop is for a: the ninth screen/last 4 characters and b: WoWing on the go. XP

E- Also, less separate network traffic. That should be more efficient as well, depending on his ISP.

Honestly, this guy is prolly pretty rich. He probably bought WoW. Said "OLOL IM RICH LETS DO SOMETHING EXTRAVAGANT!" Did this. Any hardcore WoW player would do this if they could.

I'd do this for LotRO if I could... I'd build more identical copies of my PC (see specs) though instead of using different PC's/laptops. I can run two instances of LotRO on my PC with moderate performance impact so I could probably run three instances. The only way I would do it though is if I knew of a program that would let me control all of the instances at the same time (example: press "1" on the keyboard and it presses "1" on all the instances; example 2: having the mouse clicks register in the same "window relitive" place at the same time)... Oh, and I'd have to win the lottery to fund all of this of course.
