Did you read it? It's not as bad as the other DRM games. Oh and system requirements:

Can anyone please explain to me why when you buy a game you are limited in it's use...at all? I'm serious, I really don't understand how this is supposed to affect pirating?

I feel like I'm crazy or something.

The biggest problem the lot of us have is if they shut down the AUTH servers...

You'd think that they would simply unprotect your game...

Sadly not (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080724-drm-still-sucks-yahoo-music-going-dark-taking-keys-with-it.html) everyone thinks. (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com/2008/09/wal-mart-to-shut-down-music-drm-servers.html)

Gah, can't D-tools emulate SecureROM or something like that? Seriously this protection crap is fucking stupid.

just acepting what you've been told
cant you see they've been sold
to the highest bidder?

Why
wont you just answer the....
Lie
to my face again..
shy
away from the facts that...
pry
into the truth.

not questioning but listening
as your feed bullshit on politics
and sick shit to make you ill.
Fight back from oppresion
use disgression and figure
it out for yourself.

sit there to become brainwashed
as your inteligence is insulted
and salted on a plate of deception
and insubordination.
one nation?
huh.
one station, one switch, no will
no thoughts, no facts more lies,
less time.

Why
wont you just answer the....
Lie
to my face again..
shy
away from the facts that...
pry
into the truth.

Steam! Yeah, I actually saw FC2 in Steam's store. Think that'll have SecuROM?

speak for yourself. oh wait, you just did.
The day someone is bothered to look for security vulnerabilities in SecuROM is the day ever legitimat game owner is going to have a completely dead computer.

definitely. Steam is just the means of getting the third party content to you. Not managing it.

It's not flawless but yes.

Also will not buy.

I wasn't going to buy FC2 because it looked like it will suck. Now I'm hopping over to the "eww DRM" bandwagon to give it more steam.

Hmm, well that sucks. I'll probably be getting this for 360 anyways at Christmas time, since I wouldn't be able to run the PC version. Wish I could though, I'd like to check out the editor.

Oh most definitely. Most of the time it doesn't even stop the ability to pirate the game. As long as games come out, there will be pirating so they should learn that there is no practical way to stop it. DRM included. Personally, I've never ran into many problems with secure rom or i jsut don't have many games that use it.

It’s not Far Cry 2’s fault that its opening hour is defined by repeated stabbing of the continue option

Uhh yes it is.

I always thought binding quick save and quick load to the left and right mouse buttons is what Far Cry was always about. (Yeah, I quoted Yahtzee. What of it?)

And yet he never mention that in STALKERs: Clear sky, IMO it's the more difficult game than Far cry.

SecureROM refuses to let people play until the official release date.

Sucks for people who buy the game from stores who release it early.

Couldn't you circumvent the release date thing? By changing the date and not being connected to the internet?

He didn't. It just happened to be really close to what he said in his Crysis review.

I'm not kidding. My GameStop is selling it right now. Seriously, I'm not even trying to be sly and make a piracy statement.
