This shaky-cam YouTube video shows what appears to be a teaser for BioShock 2 found in the Extras menu on the retail PS3 version of BioShock. The teaser consists of one shot, pulling back from a scraggly Big Daddy doll to reveal a Little Sister standing on a beach looking at the sunrise (it’s the Atlantic Coast, and since America is the Center of the World we assume she’s looking East.) As the camera continues to pull back, the buildings of Rapture rise up out of the sand and finally a BioShock 2 logo appears with the tagline “Sea of Dreams.” So what does it mean, besides the obvious announcement of a sequel? The Little Sister looks a bit older, but still a child. Is she the main character? The buildings rising from the beach – are Splicers going to invade the world on the surface? What’s the deal with the little blue butterfly that sprouts out of the logo at the end? Looks like it's shaking some water off its wings, like its drying off... More potential evidence that BioShock 2 will come up from the undersea.

Yeah I noticed that on BuF... some of the better theories I've heard have said that it's probably a prequel and follows Tenenbaum's past.

I'm not quite sure if it's a prequel or a sequel, but I think that it's the latter of the two. Gonna be a good game, can't wait!

I really hope that's coming out for PC. I play through the whole entire bioshock campaign 2-3 times a month, I find it fun and unique.

Now with a 2010 release date, the official movie will be directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean). Movie clips I used for my "Imaginary" trailer: "City of Lost Children," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," "Casshern" "Dark City," "Cast Away," "James Cameron's Aliens of the Deep, An IMAX Film," "iRobot," "Silent Hill," "Artificial Intelligence."

Lol, I was gonna say, that movie looks absolutely terrible. But hopefully they'll do a good job with it.

Ha ha, it's actually kind of cool to see fan made trailers... sometimes. That's not the worst one I've seen.

Yeah it looked like a real one to me too. Not very professional, though. (Used fonts, cuts and the game logo at the end.)

I realized it was fake, since I recognized the first clip. Also, I read the description. :cool:

It was actually pretty good for a fan-made trailer.

That teaser sucked.

"Hey Bioshock 2 is coming out. And there's a girl or something."

Pretty pointless, but then again it is just a little extra in the PS3 version, so I would not expect much in the first place.
