What's the differences between tool_pro and the normal tool++?

tool_pro still uses the command prompt. I heard it is more stable, but I don't know anything else about it =\.

It bypasses the original tool limits, such as man tagsize, compressed cache size, etc...
Thought it's only really useful for UIs, as normal maps exception if the original limits are bypassed.

If you're looking for an alternative to Tool++, get "Tool-Ex" for HEK+. It has a much, much nicer interface, and it explains the commands and all the variables you need to use.

Wasn't looking for an alternative, just wanted to know what additional features /differences tool_pro had over the regular tool.exe

In that case, all it does is remove the cache size limit. Only works for UI's though, other maps crash when you try to play them when they're over their allowed cache size
