But THIS (http://www.maximumpc.com/article/news/cinemassive_will_give_you_12_linked_displays_for_j ust_13_grand) makes my mouth water. Now drop the price $12,000 and i might pull in the change for it >.<

Think about modelling on this. Or playing Crysis on it. My mouth waters. SO MUCH GAH!

I've never seen what's so great about using more than one monitor to display a single image... the monitor outlines are just annoying.

That's not really something you'd want to game on anyways. If you want a massive screen play on a big HDTV or projector.

Yeah, i find one monitor is the best, or maybe two, depending if the game supports features for a second one. Supreme Commander supports the second monitor as a different camera, so you can either have it as a minimap, or an area showing an important part of the map.

I agree with you on the monitor outlines.

I just want to play my games on something big really. lol One day i'll get a projector with Ultra Highdef and that's what i'll use my computer on.

I find the gaps between the screen distracting. That many monitors is just eyes overkill.

That would be terrible for anything other than casually watching television 50 feet away.

Yeah the edges are really gay.

Projector tbh

Yeah, spending 13k on that with all those monitors/edges is pretty lame when you could just buy a good projector.

Projectors today haven't reached the level that computer monitors have tho lol.

That will be the death of my eyes :gonk: I'd really prefer a 20 inch flatscreen tbh

What kind of games run well at those resolutions?

What else could you use that much desktop real estate for? I could not use all of that for something as simple as spreed sheets.

It might be a nice thing to look at, but it really does not seem all that practical.

It MIGHT be practical for presentations but other than that it's pretty much just a toy.

What the hell:
1) Why is there a little kid there playing it? (OK not exactly an important question)
2) Um, why is he 4 inches away from the screens?
3) What game is that?

It looks pretty awesome, I could care less about outlines the monitors make.

Though it is too expensive, and I don't know what games play smoothly at that high of a res.

Most likely you would be far back enough that it would not matter. Unless you want to kill your eyes/neck.

To show off that most people would rather have a kid then that monitor system.
2) Um, why is he 4 inches away from the screens?
To be close enough so he can be in a picture that shows off the screens in a nice enough detail.
3) What game is that?
Looks like Diablo 3 to me.

Again, there's no point to having this, too big, too expensive, not worth it.
