So, I've been having these problems with several of my games. Pretty much I get d3d errors when I try to start some of my games, like crysis, halo, spore, etc etc, either getting d3d errors, or none at all when I try to start them, while Ut2004, and Source games work fine during these times when d3d is fucked.

Anyone know how to get d3d to stop fucking up so I don't have to keep restarting every time I want to play crysis, or halo or something :\

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers or installing newer drivers?
Also, try updating your DX9.0c

Update DirectX. Even if it's up-to-date, it'll reinstall required files.

reinstalled DX, still getting scattered persistant errors after a few hours,

possible your card is overheating?

Really doubt it. I can still play source games, and UT2004(When shit gets fucked up); I think its a software problem.
