Ok, for the last hour or so, for some reason when I click somewhere on the page an edit text flashing bar thingy that shows when you type appears on the page anywhere that there's text or a table or something. I'm guessing I must have hit a button or something that turns this on without knowing it. Its starting to annoy me now so if any one knows how to turn it off that would be great.
Yes I had trouble wording this, mainly because I forgot what the "flashing bar" thing is called.

Do you have the extension Firebug installed? I know it allows editing web pages, and it sounds like when you click somewhere, a textbox comes up allowing you to edit the text.
What addons are installed for Firefox?

Only add-ons are AVG safesearch, MS .net framework assistant and Move media player.
Its not actually allowing me to edit text, but the edit text thing shows when I click. I'll get a pic in a sec.

There normally shouldn't be an edit text bar there when I click.

Well, if you click after the letter, the edit cursor comes up no matter what. :|
I just clicked on "Reply to Thread" and got the edit cursor too. It's just how the browser works, I don't think you can turn it off.

It doesn't usually do that, and it even happens when I click on the background, there's like a huge edit text thing after the box where I click.

You turned on carat browsing and didn't notice the popup saying "are you sure you want to turn on caret browsing?"
Hit F7...

My brother must have done it when he was using the computer. Oh well, it fixed itself when I closed Firefox(why the hell didn't I think of that?)
Thanks for the help anyways. Locked.
