I booted up Team Fortress 2 today, and began noticing this weird red dot grid pattern. I've been having a lot of BSOD's today, usually saying "Due to a hardware or software error."

I remember my father had the same video card I have now (Radeon 9800 pro AGP btw), and when this happened to him, the video card was burning out.

Does that appear to be what's happening to me?

Check the temperature of your video card for a better idea?

Not overheating, not by a long shot.

I guess Ill ask the usual shit.

Are your drivers up to date?

Have you tried fiddling with some of the game's settings?

Have you tried running it in dx8 mode?

Look into the doorways, there's red fuzzy dots.

Ooh, you may want to get that checked out. Last time I had a All-In-Wonder 9700 and I started seeing those dots, turned into these Red-green blue patterns across the screen, and then finally it fried itself.
