Lol, taking a run at UnrealEngine3/UnrealEd4 it seems.
The one thing Epic had on Crytek was always the ease-of-use and powerful editor. If you have UnrealEngine's level of scripting... don't think Epic can compete without serious enhancements.

I love that whole roadmaking idea. I want to make a racecourse for some reason, and have a race with people. THEN CRASH AND BURN AND TAKE OUT A BAZOOKA AND MAKE THEM FLY INTO THE ****ING CLOUDS.
I'm sane, honest.

looks like Autodesk is going to have to review their market if they're gonna live in the longrun. All it'll take to knock them down significantly is a cheap version of a good sandbox editor with the ability to uniquely script output. Imagine being able to take that editor, lock Ghost in a room with a comp loaded with it (minus a mouse so he couldn't build levels :P), and wait for him to BlueSteak it.

Zeph, the dude said you would use 3ds max to make the like base parts, like steel gurders or poles and other structures. BSP kinda mesh hills nd stuff wwould probably be made in the sandbox thing through your right about that

Yah, but just about everything has to be made in 3dsmax or maya first, and then can be imported into the editor, where it can be used where ever.
