I bought Fraps Full several days ago. Works well, just one issue. No compression. A single 10min match can be upto 10GBs. While this is okay for short matches (if I compress afterwards), I'm worried about a match lasting too long. I only have 40GBs left of open space, and that may not be enough. So I ask you holyist of holy men: Is there a Frap like program with real time compression? I don't care about spending money, and even with Fraps running I easily get max Frames Per Second on most of my games, so some compression in the background shouldn't hurt.
Please help oh saints of modacity.

This is one of the reasons I prefer Gamecam over Fraps, due to the ridiculous file size that Fraps creates.

You can also try WeGame, a free recording program. I can't use GameCam because I'm on Vista :/

Lies!
I use Fraps almost daily to record cutscenes from games and to piece them together. Yes, the filesize is massive, however, if I record, lets say...30 minutes of video, I'm generally able to get 30GB used. This isn't much for me when I have 100GB free. At this point, regardless of where I am, I simply exit the game, convert the videos to a high quality, but smaller filesize format, delete the uncompressed vids, and continue.

Yea, I have a 500GB HDD dedicated to video related stuff so... Fraps wins.
