I've always been disappointed at how poorly M.C. Kids did in the market. When we started the project everybody was very excited. We were going to do a super fun game and it was for McDonalds. They were going to have Happy Meals for the game which they sell 1 million a day and run for 30 days so 30 million ads for our game would be placed. How could it lose? ...All in all it was a good game. Better than most NES games at the time. For some reason though McDonalds didn't agree and decided not to support it with a Happy Meal promotion.

strategy/puzzle:
age of empires 2 and 3, starcraft + broodwar, C&C Generals, THE ENTIRE MYST SERIES (so awesome), Curse of Monkey Island, Brain Age for DS

games which didn't make any list but I consider "classic":

Dear god, when I played Nintendo DS wi-fi with my friend, I downloaded some Pokemon multiplayer temporarily from his DS, and boy I could not stand it and we ended up playing Metroid Prime hunters instead. I have some really bad memories of Pokemon back in 2000 (the stupidity of the craze for different cards).

eww...Doom 3 phails in terms of gameplay. No denying that its technology was pretty much unparalleled in 2004, and still holds up even in 2006, but the gameplay really was nothing great. Those "hideous grotesque monsters" never scared me at all (On PC, I only played the demo, but I also played a bit on my friends' xbox after I sold my xbox).

Favourite video games? Okay, here goes nuthin':

1.) HaloCE. It happens to be the game that's stuck with me for the longest.
2.) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Second-best game to stick with me.
3.) Need For Speed IV: High Stakes. It almost got boring when I found out how easy it is to mod it with new cars and tracks and music.
4.) Duke Nukem 3D. It's a classic.
5.) Final Fantasy VII. Only Final Fantasy I've played a lot, only one I own, and only PSX game I have that owns.

By the way, exactly HOW good is NFS Carbon? And how high are its system requirements? I've been thinking of trying it since I only have played NFS3, NFS4, NFS6 and Underground2 (NFS4 beats the hell out of all of the aforementioned as far as I'm concerned).

Real Life, I mean geez, everything is so high res and the models look so realistic, the only thing this game is lacking is a re-spawn option, and possibly an undo option too.

Lmao yeah, real life is the best video game, even the best FPS (just grab an M16 and go to Iraq). It is the most realistic (although the upcoming Crysis ranks a close second - I almost thought it was live action being filmed once) of all games. Real life just needs the ability to heal oneself simply by walking over a medical kit, and the ability to grab ammo by walking over a gun.

Sounds like my kind of game though.
Dude, it is your kind of game. It totally pwns. There's a weapon called a Lancer. It's an automatic rifle and the bullets are about the same strengh as the Assault Rifle in Halo. It also contains the same amount of bullets as the AR too. But it has a chainsaw bayonet attached to it and it is an instant kill when you use it on an opponent. But you're forced to lower it once you receive damage, just to balance it out, ya know?
