There's errors that need fixing still. A bigger at back and in middle. And some smoothing needs fixing.

I think the carbines... umm battery thingy is too small. It looks kinda tiny compared to the rest of the gun. Only thing I have to nitpick about. Looks good.

I'm going to have to stereotypically disagree with masters on this one, i actually think this is one of your best. The only problem--right in the very back, the 'butt' of the carbine, those straight-edge polygons should have a bit more curvature instead of being 90 deg angles.

The edge turn tool : USE IT!
The back is all kinds of screwed up. Smoothing... I won't even try to point out all the messups. Don't just use auto-smooth; actually plan things out.

Hunter, can we get a FP persepctive shot of the gun? From the 3p shots it looks like the FP view will be boring, and that's the most important part of a model in my opinion.

I would suggest making sure some of your edges arn't so harsh. It's going to detract from how sleep the gun looks and will divert attnetion durring animations. Also, the clip seems to large, and it's interescting the gemetry around it. The casing around the clip also needs to be alot sleeker and smooth. We made the mistake of not doing that with the CMT carbine and it irks me all the time. Also as you said, the barrel needs smoothing.

Feel free to draw any inspiration or ideas from ours. It should give you a better idea of what I meant for some of the crit I had for your model.

I actually kind of like the harsh edges on this one, just make it silver and call it a Brute Carbine :p
Though in some cases is does definitely need to be smoothed out

Thanks Masterz, im of to bed now, I will fix when I come back on PC and post new pictures. It was pretty rushed, took roughly 6 hours. And you can't really make something look good when rushing Lol. And that is nice Carbine in SPv2 :P

Also, aside from the already mentioned errors (especially the curvature and smoothing), nice model. Now that you're taking crit nicely, you're starting to make some pretty good stuff.

Also, make the lower part of the rim around the clip smoother at the bottom, and I think along with lags suggestions this will turn out really good.

-Make the lower grip a bit thicker
-Make the inside of the grab-hole-things their own smoothgroup. ~90 degree angles that are smooth just look strange.
-Please, please, PLEASE use edge-turn to fix some of your quads.

If you locked your ratio at 1.333 in max, then it's 2000x1500 iirc.

Agreed, this is turning into a great model. Seen a few anomaly's but keep going at it. When you've gotten to the end product then we can go over some fixes.

Thanks, and as for the H3MT topic.
I have stated many times before that I am going to model a full Halo 3 weapon set. The models I make are for me. But H3MT can use it because I am in their team. And disaster, doan and IV could try and texture it if they want to.
I would prefer Dano though :P But that's not going to happen.

I agree with the smoothing groups. You need to concentrate a little bit more on which faces/lines you are smoothing, and there are still some smoothing errors which i can see now that i am looking at it on the comp, theres a dodgy triangle which has made a smoothing error, but other than that good model
