I've just spent about 3 hours this afternoon looking through a map i have been modeling in max and when i tried exporting it after fixing a few open edges i got an error with the bluestreak exporter.
At first i thought it was a problem caused by me changing something in the mesh so i tried exporting another mesh that i know works and still no dice, anyone got any ideas?
I cant use blitzkrieg as im using a demo of 3ds max 2009

If I recall correctly, it has to do with your materials being set up incorrectly, or just a piece of your model doesn't have a correct material id applied to it. Make sure every part of your model has a correct material id, if that doesn't fix it, then post a picture of your material editor.

Thanks, that fixed it.
I selected the sky portion pressed cntrl+I which selected everything else and noticed it had more than one material applied to my mesh.
I only wanted to to a test to see how the bsp looks ingame before i go onto texturing, besides i need to add some more detail such as hills and buildings.
would you know of anywhere i can download Toolstar?
All the links ive found including the official download have 404 errors.

First off, bypassing errors in tool is not the smartest thing to do. I don't really approve of using ToolStar. Nobody can use it anyway, because as soon as they try to run the exe, it deletes itself and replaces it with a new exe. I have attached a picture of what the form looks like.

Ok thanks.
The only reason i wanted to use toolstar was because im only testing this bsp not actualy releasing it as of yet.
And having to fix 30 odd non existance holes for a test map seemed a little extreme.
How ever it explains why toolstar is the only download removed from the WMclan download section or rather, is the only file not found when you try to download it.
