Okay, so basically when I view things in the perspective view, it cuts out parts of the model, it doesnt render faces basically, they ARE there, because when I rendner the scene, they show up. Also tearing happens on some models as well.

Any one know how to fix? Yes I can started max multiple times.

Basically, the dark bit on model is the missing bit.

Isn't that season 1 of lost? Good show up till the end of season 2.

Anyway, try resetting, not just close/open. Also switch your display over to OpenGL or standard and see if it still happens.

This is an old problem. Right click the object and click "object Properties". Then look for the checkbox next to "Backface cull" and check it. If that isnt it then it is probably some messed up viewport clipping.

If you move the camera INSIDE the shape then look up -- do you see the exact opposite triangles? (invisible go visible, visible go invisible?)

It was basically error with renderer, I changed it from DirectX to OpenGL and that did the trick.

Lost has been amazing all 4 seasons, season 5 is going to be intense. :)

Thats not necessarily a good thing. OpenGL is not a great rendering software at the moment, and DirectX is alot more powerful and able to handle a lot more in max. Now that you know what the problem is, try downloading the newest DirectX release and reinstalling it.
