Intro ---------------------------------

Well - I'm gonna post my observations from Halo: Custom Edition for no reason, starting the weekend of December 13 - 14, 2008. Hopefully jcap will humor me and let me maintain a kind of war journal on this forum. Everyone is welcome to contribute diversly to my thread.

Saturday morning bout 9 am - seems like ages ago Brentos was on bloodgulch snipers. He was very much better than what I'm used to seeing on CE. Said he was from [XK] clan, I said they were all noobs, then I said i was kidding. He had really awesome technique though.

Caught with this cat I hadnt seen in a while on rat race Saturday afternoon, like a 2 on2 or something; you know how slow ce is. But kind of the same deal, much more sexy strafe than the hyperactive garbage i m used to on ce. He just chilled and 3sked me like 20 times. Anyway, it was awesome.

Commentary-----------------------------------------

90% nameless noobs, a few with average skills. A few HCEL types were on. Like Apple was on, I tried to tell him about my ancient schemes for all good players on ce to represent one "clan". Last week i hit up the [CIA] vent, then, all of a sudden, there was like 5 good players in a server.

Last Wednesday the 10th of December, about 5 pm EST. iseeu, Ganon and Python all suck majorly at sniper hill.

My current server is getting better. I need a ffa snipers gametype> Otherwise we have been playin snipers in the gulch as well as icefileds and capture the skull on ratrace and hangemhigh. And yes sorry about the tank in the gulch Vish, I have no idea how it got there. The current admins are Luck, Amross, Opeth, FlmZ, Apples. Most HCEL are 'qualified'. I just want to keep a server full without lame gametypes like the [Ai] server, etc. Time limit, ffa off? gtfo.

But most of the coolest games over the weekend I neglected to screenshot. Like DropZ and Gumby were on Sunday night ugly. O well. GGs!

One final annoying thought. The Master-debators server or Md clan i guess is uber lame. They wouldnt even discuss co-ordinating servers. And was pretty upset that ]yuM*Amross bots and is hacking their server.

Ok sam I am here to tell you once again, you can not just admin any random noob.........)l+ '_' +l0 comes on banning and kicking people for "being noobs" when I would 25-0 the fag in a 1v1, so therefore I say to you as "partners" as you said when we did the face thing together; either let the face die completely or if you bring it back do it with dignity, fags like this I ban from a clan on the auto, he obviously cant handle the power of rcon. And what's with "representing CE?" Sticking a mask in your name isn't repping, it's the ideas you've actually contributed. I'd say the zombie thing kicked off after the Ørder hosted it for, what was it, 6-or-some months?

I'll keep my name and what it stands for, thank you. I'm not the type to stick around on one map and constantly snipe in one area while others shoot back--it's more fun when they can only slice at you with a spike rifle. (In all honesty, I enjoy the challenge of sneaking behind someone and meleeing them, or preforming major team effort by surrounding the enemy until they're completely fucked.)

It's completely impossible to dominate a diverse community such as this. To be honest, I find your intent to be like Hitler's--there are always going to be different people out there, you have to accept it. You can't dominate the world and rid it of "evil". (noobs is prolly what you'd call it) You want all of us to unite? I say nay, old friend.

You know what I mean. No one can completely control what we do, cept bungie and spymaster, cause they run the game. I'm pretty sure what Sam is trying to accomplish is taking over all the servers in CE. I agree, there are some people out there that really shouldn't play, but he only promotes people who are "skilled".

Justin. I’m sorry to hear that. If some clown scrub from jr high is messing around, then my bad. Kill it, tk it over and over, tbh. The situation was fixed that day. I just want to make a difference on CE, so that the 5% of us with a brain can enjoy the merciless nature of the game without the other 90% noobing it up. Luck , amross, opeth, apples, flmZ, death , etc. have rcon to my server. My apologies and I hope it won’t happen again. You need to xfire me, or call my new number. No worries.



Its ironic that I write this, explaining that I need help on ce with a kind of unified authority; which happens automatically in the server and vent you pay every month for in HCEL games.


midweek discussion---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CE is pretty wild when you consider hours played and how many players have come and gone and how many kids still play it. It’s funny that you mentioned flem and beast, some of the best I ever had the good fortune to play halo with, because I heard today they are into WoW and not xfire or halo at all now. I know my one friend’s brother lives with his girlfriend he met on WoW, and they play it together still. How bizarre. I know my current girlfriend thinks people who ever play video games are on full retard. I guess it just depends how you want to spend your free time. Have you ever heard the expression: If you re not thinking about pussy, you re not concentrating.
But interestingly enough, I was chatting with one of the best halo pc players in the world (murder) today and he said there is 30 or so really good halo pc players left. I’m sure that is conservative, but it’s about the same as CE, maybe we have 10 like their 30 if that makes sense. But I know the 30 involved with HCEL are pretty damn good. Probably some really good team work there as well. And that is the sexiest part of all.
