I'm looking for a cheap hard drive at least 50gb and under 50 bucks (optimally 35 bucks since that is exactly how much money I have right now). This is so I can have vista on a separate drive on my gaming rig. Yes I know I could partition my main drive and put vista on that but I want Vista to stay away from my XP drive.
Here is what I've found

Tell me what you guys think I should get.
Also anyone know any good promo codes I could use to take off a couple of bucks?

I mean a drive that will have enough room and a high enough RPM. Any drive can have "run" vista I meant performance. *face palm*
I'm a noob to hardware.
edit-
BTW I'm only getting vista to play H2V. For some reason I seem to be the only person who enjoys the online play. I want to be able to play this on my computer and not on my vista craptop.
edit 2-
I believe that the title of this thread is confusing so let me re-write it.
A cheap harddrive to run vista on.

I'm spending all of the cash I have left here so I want to make sure I'm getting the right thing you know. Just saying. I probably order tomorrow or sometime.

If you want to double your space and go with 160gb you can for only 5 dollars more here.

Same Seagate Barracuda just more space. I hope this helped! This HD is more than adequate for vista or any game for that matter.

If I can get another 5 I'll go with that. Although space is no issue I have a 80 Gig USB backup drive and a 120 gig PCI connected storage drive.

I don't need 250 gigs really. This is just for H2V what I'm looking for is better RPMs really.

7.2k is standard, 5.4k is moderately slow. 10k is fast but will get you going around $150 for a 75gb hard drive. I guarantee you will notice next to no difference with a 10k drive over a 7.2k one. Might as well go with the one Lex1337 posted.

Would I be wrong in saying that just about any HDD can run Vista...? I mean, I have like, a 2 year old 80gb hard drive running Vista...

Well, obviously you need one with over 20gb(?) of memory, but other than that...

Also, if you're gunna be installing Vista just for simple things like games, I recommend creating a custom install with vLite - it'll save you a bit of space.

Alright. I really don't know to much when it comes to buying hardware and that why I put this up. I'll be ordering this as soon as my parents give me a thumbs up.
