View Full Version : Where is another tagset?

Does anyone know where there could be another tagset for ce. I went to gearbox forums and I found the ghost's post of the tagset but it seems that he had removed it from filefront. None of my tags seem to work anymore and I need them to finish the map I am making. Is there another place where I can find it or a way I could contact ghost?

Tried that, some of the tags are missing and I tried extracting them from the maps they came from but it wont work or sapien won't load them.

Well why not give us your debug.txt and we can see what tags your missing and send you the ones that you need.

I also tried that and It'll show me the tags that it won't load and then it will tell me that it didn't load. :\

Sounds like something got borked p bad.

Follow this list; but be forewarned it WILL take a long time to do.


Uninstall CE and the HEK entirely. Nuke the Halo Custom Edition folder if it remains after uninstallation.
Reinstall CE.
Install the HEKPlus.
Nab the PC maps from your Halo CD, unless you have Halo PC installed.
Open a10.map and find the scenario [scnr] tag and RECURSIVELY extract it (add it to the extraction queue, and click the checkbox next to it before hitting Extract).
Lather, rinse, repeat until you've done this for all maps.
Install the HEK.
You will also need fixed monitor.model_animations and a fixed lightning bitmap. (Links coming soon.)
