View Full Version : Windows XP does not recognize my USB2.0 ports as 2.0

I don't know whether I've been googling the wrong keywords or something, but I haven't been able to come up with a related problem through google.

So pretty much, I have like 8 USB 2.0 ports on my computer. Windows xp doesnt recognize them as 2.0, and prompts me to plug my device into a 2.0 port.

What's the transfer speed like? If it's fast enough for what you're doing, Windows is being dumb.

Also use Linux. Also stop playing Crysis Wars. Also install the USB 2.0 drivers!

They probably are; Windows displayed the same error for me yesterday, so I unplugged the drive and plugged it back in. Windows saw who was boss, and shut up.

Also stop playing Cod4.
I will when you stop playing Crysis Wars and start playing COD4.
