Internet Explorer. It comes with the OS, and I can't think of any reason why I need a different one...

Chrome, FF3 and Safari. I switch between FF3 and Safari on OS X (FF3 is flawless for functionality and whatnot, and Safari is just fast as shit), and stick to Chrome on my PC (as it's also fast as shit).

Slow, not very secure, can get hi-jacked very easily...the list goes on. I used FireFox right up to only two days ago. My FireFox is jacked with some type of malware even Kaspersky 2009 does't detect so I switched to Chrome. Chrome is faster than my Firefox and takes it easy on my CPU and memory. The interface is clean and likable but there are still many bugs in the browser. The features are just not up to par with FirFox and the customizations are almost nil compared to firefox. The stock settings are just to simple and not indepth. I can't do half the things I used to to with FireFox. But I'm happy with it for now. However, I refuse to use the poll.

I doubt it's malware if nothing is picking it up. You probably screwed up a setting, screwed up your profile, or screwed up an add-on. So either delete your profile completely or start the browser in safe mode and disable everything.

Firefox. Recently though it has been using huge amounts of memory for no apparent reason, thinking of switching to something else.

I prefer chrome, its tabs are easy to use, its safe, high configureable, and its by google, what else do you want?

IE when I'm on my PC and Safari when I'm on my iPod Touch (like I am now).

May I ask that you guys stick to your -main- browser?
If you use more than one, feel free to state that, but be sure to accentuate that your main browser is indeed your main browser.
Personally I use Opera. I prefer the interface. Plus you can move the tabs around as if they were windows, which is neat.

Opera 10, mostly because of its interface (and things like speed dial).

Opera 9 at the moment. I tried 10 and its really good but I'm too lazy to recustomize it all to my liking, and I don't want to install over my opera 9 since it's just in beta right now.

Firefox. Chrome is good, but the lack of Middle mouse click-scroll thing infuriates me.

Opera lolifox. Many years ago Firefox had some weird bugs, like .gifs slowing the system to a crawl for 6800 users, so I switched over. Now I use both since FF has the nice noscript and other fun things.

Yay Firefox! Although as a web developer it would probably make more sense for me to want everybody to use Opera...
Actually, what I really want is fierce competition in the market. Then everybody will be trying to one-up each other, building better browsers all around! It's win-win. Ironic that the problem of browser compatibility could be solved (or at least improved) by having more browsers be common. :P

Google Chrome is my primary, but I use firefox as a reserve when stuff doesn't work
Why would you want to customize chrome? Its perfect already...there is hardly any interface except what you need/use, and its ultra-minimalistic and fast...I love it.

IMO more browser competition is good.
Opera should advertise itself on billboards and the like :)

Firefox/Chrome.
Chrome for it's rock solid stability.
Firefox for it's usability/plugins/general web browsing stuff.
Rarely I'll open up IE 64-bit for FTP-type stuff since I haven't bothered setting up Dreamweaver.

Opera because (to me) it seems like a mix between Chrome and Firefox but better. Mouse gestures are awesome.
