- Chargers will beat the Steelers and Ravens (Steelers won)
- Steelers will beat the Ravens
- Cardinals will beat the Eagles
- Cardinals beat the Steelers to win the Superbowl

Seriously, this season has been one of the weirdest I've seen... If anything I'm calling it, Cardinals will go all the way. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see the Steelers beat them assuming they make it. Should be an interesting one...

Go Cards, win one more for Warner!

Edit: There goes my Chargers prediction.

I say the Steelers will lose, but the Ravens will prevail by a small bit. Steelers' offense isn't organized enough, but I think the Ravens can pull a win against the Chargers. It just sucks that Atlanta didn't keep steady in the Cardinals game and win that one.

I really hope the Ravens lose. Then the fanboys who live around here will finally shut up about the team that they all said they hated until this year.

Makes me wish I was one of those guys who always has their camera. Then I could show every one of those assholes them in their Steelers jerseys.

Last night was terrible. Everyone was expecting the Panthers to do good, but the Cardinals just raped them.

33 to 13.

I've been an Eagles fan my whole life, so my opinion may be biased, but I really think they can pull through. They've really stepped up the past few weeks, and If they keep it up they'll go. all. the. way.

Damnit, the eagles lost. Refs didn't call a bunch of penalties. Oh well. Go Steelers.

Refs made some bullshit calls, especially the 2 pass interference that they failed to call that dramatically changed the game.

And I'm still calling it, Cardinals will win it. I'm actually tempted to put a little money into the game, maybe $20 on Bodog. Having the potential to rack in a profit of $20 is always nice.

This should be a very good game, but I'm in favor of the Steelers for this one.

Go Steelers! I still wish the Falcons would have won. That would have made things a lot more interesting IMO. :goat:

STLRamsFan
January 27th, 2009, 06:59 PM
I think it's actually more interesting right now. The Falcons' turnaround was amazing (especially with a rookie quarterback), but who would have thought the Cardinals, who were considered the weakest team in the playoffs, would make the Super Bowl? Plus, you got a quarterback who again defined the odds to lead his team to a Super Bowl appearance. Give the Cardinals credit for not losing faith in themselves and playing like it's the last game of their life. And of course you got the Steelers. Big Ben is showing more and more that he can handle the load despite the running game not being up to par this season. Plus, their defense is that-damn-good. If anything, it'll be interesting to see how Kurt Warner and the Cardinal offense handle the Steeler defense.

No disrespect to the Falcons and all of their accomplishments this season, I just don't see the Falcons being championship ready right now. A little more seasoning will do the trick and they'll be ready for the grand finale.

Edit: Typo

DarkHalo003

Yeah, I don't think the Falcons were completely collected now that it's brought back up. I guess that's what shows when one team wins and another loses.

Steelers. They always seem to make a win out of a game that seems like it is going badly.

I just don't like the Steelers very much at all, and would hate to see them break the Super Bowl Record, especially when the other team hasn't won ONE super bowl.

one hell of an interception by the steelers for a 100 yard touchdown. simply amazing.

one hell of an interception by the steelers for a 100 yard touchdown. simply amazing.Man, watching all those slow-mo shots it looks like he should have broken his neck. Was funny how he sat there for about 5 minutes breathing hard with some of his teammates over him after that. Was obvious the touchdown would be given, imagine how pissed off he'd be (Harrison was it?) if it wasn't a touchdown, haha.

Yeah, that was probably the most amazing Super Bowl play I've seen. Big guy scored a touchdown!

I've never really watched it before, was that the big hype, that wasn't that long!?

Nvm, it's back on. For some reason, this doesn't bore me as much as normal.

I think Arizona's fucking stupid for passing right then. Honestly, they could have easily made that touchdown if they went for a run.

Warner had a misread. Pittsburgh faked a blitz, but didn't go all the way, and Warner didn't catch that.

I nearly had a heart attack at the end... By far one of the best Super Bowls. In fact, I think this one tops last year's game. And that says something about how good this game was.

thaT ending was bullshit. Why couldn't cardinals wait a bit, toughen their fucking defense a bit.

BUT THE PERSONAL FOUL ON HARRISON WAS FUCKING HILARIOUS, HE FUCKING TOLD THAT GUY TO SIT.

But, for me personally it will never top last years.

Pfft no way did it top last years, last years was insane. Pats were going to be the greatest team of all time. But was stolen from us at the end :(

James Harrison's touchdown run was incredible. 100 yards, longest in superbowl history.
GG, wanted cardinals but meh, congrats steelers.
