Complain to microsoft and send about 20 copies of the exact same email to them.
Make 3 seperate topics on some microsoft forum.
Get on the phone and yell at some poor tech support guy in china for half an hour.
Sound as much like a whiny brat as possible when doing any of the above.
Or wait a few days, and if it's not back contact microsoft or something.

Well I called and I got one of those robots and I ended up getting annoyed with "I'm sorry, I didn't quite understand that," because apparently I must sound like a waterhead baby, that I told her to go fornicate herself with an iron stick and hung up. Will try again on Monday.
E: Ugh...so I got this Indian woman who is frantically saying my name and asking me really stupid questions....
E: ugh....she is clueless...
E: So she told me they would send me an email about something and something so I guess I just wait.
E: Called again. On hold with halo music. haha.
E: Dear christ....on hold again. late 80's/early 90's techno ninja turtles intro music.
E: OHKAY.
So some jackoff shiteater stole my account and I dont know how but we cut the little fucker off and I got refunded.
I am a little pissed but I am glad I got my shit back.
Lost my achievements and crap but I got my money back.
Goddamn...New account I guess.

Can you sign on your xbox live account? If not it's possible your account was hacked and information such as e-mail and gamertag (obviously) were changed. However if this is the case, it is still VERY possible to get your account back.

Goddamn...New account I guess.Did they ask for you to verify it was your account by asking what the information was previously before it changed, or did you ask if it was possible to reverse the info changes, or if they can revoke the account and ban the person currently using it and somehow recover it? You gotta remember and ask these questions because xbox support will NOT voluntarily ask you these things or let alone think about it as the things I listed may be possible. Did you check if he changed your e-mail already?

He changed my email, password, and gamertag along with buying 20000 gp's and 12 months.
We cut him and the account so he is fucked.

About 6-7 months ago or so, I had a guy named E3pO (He did some shit for Halo, not sure if any of you guys have heard of him) hack into my Xbox Live account when I downloaded his modded HEK off of Halomaps. Apparently, he had written his own keylogger built in to the editing kit and Dennis didn't catch it on Halomaps since E3pO coded it himself, meaning anti-virus software didn't catch it. I download his HEK, run it and activate the keylogger which catches every word I type, the next thing I type is my Xbox Live account email and password.
The next day, I had my cell phone ring at about 10 PM. I picked up, and this guy talked to me for a bit and asked if I had used my email for Xbox Live. Foolishly, I said yes. He then said my password and asked if was my Xbox Live password. I asked who he was and he said he was a hacker who went by the online name of E3pO (I was suprised he answered that he was a hacker, and even more suprised by his sheer stupidity by saying his online alias. Maybe he was gloating or something, I don't know.) Anyway, I hung up and contacted Dennis over at Halomaps, explaining things to him.
He DID manage to hack my account and change my password, but I managed to get it back by saying I forgot my password and getting in that way, basically stealing my own account. I changed my password back, but the little fucker had gotten into my emails and deleted everything, including some very important emails which I didn't have a backup of (I had a short stint as a beta tester for that Disney Pirates of the Carribean Online game, and that email had my beta key and such). He even got into my Paypal and tried to wire himself some cash, but I managed to cut him off before that went through.
Anyway, a couple days later, things were back to normal and besides the emails, no permanent harm was done. Dennis removed E3pO's HEK off of the site upon it being confirmed malware, and I don't think anyone else came to harm.

Ah, the dangers of a pay-for online gaming console service. I have a 360, but I've never had Live apart from a few free months bundled with some games I bought.. My PSN account for the PS3 hasn't been hacked yet, but at least I know that if it does get compromised I don't lose any $$$.
Good to hear you got your account back though, try not to lose the information again. It helps to constantly make sure your computer is free of keyloggers, i.e. run a check every week or so.

You could have called the police and got him in trouble. He even went into your paypal account trying to wire some cash to himself, isn't that illegal?

as for E3po, glad he got banned, the fucker from what I've gathered SHOULD be arrested for identity theft. as for tracking, you could have had the police track him via phone line or somethin, I dunno how to go around with it.
glad I used steelix's HEK stuff and normal HEK, but dennis should REALLY screen stuff before making it public, sometimes I wonder if he even tests them. not to be rude mind you but its something I just wonder

Okay guys, so I got an email today telling me my information for Zeit Paradox.
I put it in, changed it back to Zeit Paradox, and checked around.
Turns out this guy bought EVERYTHING pretty much, so I have like every theme, arcade game, xbox original, tv show, community game, gamerpics etc.
Microsoft said they will refund all the money so I dont care, I am just stoked that I got all this free shit.

Who gave you the info? MS? The theif?
And I'm willing to bet that he did something to your account to magically unlock everything on LIVE Marketplace... I just hope you don't end up getting screwed in the long run.

That's what I figured too.
MS gave me the info.
Also, just since I saw two things flying around and one guy got confused...
E3po didn't hack me.
CNnumbers didn't hack me (no idea how that came up)
It's not really hacking. Someone knew my info and recovered my tag.
Its k though. His box got "blacklisted" (or that's what it sounded like the Indian tech guy/girl said) to where he is permanently banned from live from his xbox's ID. Meaning no profiles work online.
