A little bluebird stopped by and mentioned something about people demeaning me behind my back over something that really, really shouldn't be a huge deal in what was described as "a secret cool kids" section of these forum that I didn't even know existed. Well, you get your wish. You get your rise out of me. This is my response.

I've tried to be an upstanding member of this community, tried to get people interested in the Unreal editing section, tried to help people figure out the HEK, never talked down about anybody, never been overly arrogant, I've never been temp banned, never given negative rep, and I've only recieved three infractions for being offtopic.

Then out of the blue, I get exploited for something completely pointless and irrelevant to the subject of these forums, something that I've never flaunted on these boards for the sake of preventing drama. It seems it was inevitable from the start. I'm a furry, and the amount of crap I've received about it is ridiculous. The flaming through AIM and MSN, people asking me in a mocking tone why I am the way I am, all that stuff. Then I get told I'm "BAWWW"ing for retaliating. I don't even feel as if I'm being treated as a human being anymore.

And there's no remorse from anyone. At all.

Don't get me wrong, I know alot of people don't like them, and I can understand why, believe me when I say that. I'm personally not too fond of the furry community myself, and to be honest, I support your freedom of opinions as an individual. I don't, however, support the negative actions that stem from those opinions, when it begins to result in disrespect and intolerance. Especially in a community that wants to stand out as respectable.

I'd expect this from 4chan, but a modding community? On top of that, one that I've been an active part of for about two years?

I don't understand why people can't get along on these forums, alot more would get done. Instead, all I hear from individual members is "Oh that one guy sucks" or "I really really don't like that kid." Everyone's out to become their own star and holds some stupid grudge against someone else because they feel superior in some way, something I've done my best to avoid doing.

Really, it's disappointing. I wish I weren't pushed into making this decision.

I'm randomizing my password. I may reconsider coming back if this place eventually gets cleaned up. ... But honestly, I won't hold my breath.

To those of you who were actually supportive and relatively kind to me, you have my thanks. There's alot of cool, talented people on these forums.

And props to you if you read all of this.

With those words, I now see whats become of what used to be a Halo Modding Community.

It makes sense too, most of people people incharge of this place have always been 4-chan-ish if you want to call it that, including the well known people that modded way back when we were in gearbox theres always been the sect of 4chan wannabees in this modding group, and now that the moddings slowed down its kind of spread. A lot of people just come here and talk about nonsense in offtopic and start pointless debates over things completely unrelated to actual modding.

Tbh i could care less how productive everyone here is as long as there still interested in CE and modding halo since this was a halo modding site to begin with (idk what you folks do in the other forums I don't mod any other games and rarely explore them). But the fact that the majority of people here are completely disrespectful nowadays (still being insisted as criticism and I guess it is in the harshest sense).

If I made something in real life, and spent a good chunk of my time on it and showed it to someone in real life and they acted the way some of you people do I'd have laid em out real nice with a shot to the face a long time ago.

Meanwhile most of you sit here and go "lol internet" while you hide be hind your little anonymous nicknames and bullshit. I've tried to be who I am in real life here as much as I could, I've tried to be an understanding person also and I know where Muki is coming from. The fact that its because of the fury thing tho just goes to show how stupid this place really is though that you guys can't get past stupid shit like that. The CE modding community needs a real fuken website for real modding, I'd even make an age limit, because thats part of the problem here. The younger group just follows the bad examples, thus new members come, new members learn bad behaviour, bad behaviour continues. Then again it all stems back to the 4-chan style of behaviour that this place basically grew from more so than it did what was once a CE modding community.

While this place might still exist, and might still have a forum for CE modding, the CE modding community basically fell to pieces at this site and has become more of a small sect of people who still actually care, but even that small sect is becoming more of an ART CRTICISM bullshit sect that only cares about what looks right, your all insane, you take some shit too serious while taking nothing serious at all, it makes no sense what so ever lmao.

Being that I dont actually mod CE anymore my self or havent in over like... 6 months, the only reason I come here is for entertainment nowadays, which is sad.
