Ok I finally finished the ar and br, i set up everything needed for ingame for both, but I have no clue how to do the shaders in 3ds max, liek what are they called for the compas numbers etc.

Why does the top barrel of the BR have 3 poly sections? I know the first one in the front is for the split thing, but the second line behind it is un-needed.

Actually there should be a second shader for the assault rifle body, one for shiny metal, and another for other, dull, non-shiny materials.

That's significantly worse than your other stuff. Your geometry is really messy in some places. It's not unsalvageable though.

Gar im so mad right now...
I recorded a begginer modeling tutorial and it corrupted D:.. like 1.5 hours waisted D:..

No I tried running it and it wouldnt let me open it said it was corrupt, I updated my codec, still didnt work, and no I dont sorry, I will probably make another one tommarow cause I might not have school. :awesomesanta:

I can't model for shit but to me it looks like you need to balance your details. Theres some interesting detail in parts of the model, but then others are flat and blank. It looks a bit awkward.

Its for anyone who wants to edit to make better I just modeled according to my refs.
Anyways Im trying out like my 3d biped attempt and there isnt alot to show but I spent some time on this elite helmet, I know im missing the thing that curves down but I'll add that later.

Advancedbo hes right you may call it custom because you see some flaws or a place thats not right, it is the h3 design.
right now im trying to model the body but im not doing so well with this organic stuff.

Magazine is too wide, also 30 round mag ftw. Fore grip is off, look at the ref teek provided.

modeled today,
I wanted to model it because I hated the original h1 hog model it was ugly.... So I thought hmm. this would be my first attempt at a vehicle, so I modeled one, some inspiration by WOL's warthog with the mudflaps, everything else just came to me..
well cut the crap here it is, please point out the errors.

Tommy gun is off, the barrel needs to taper, the finger groove is too large, the mag is too thick and the forend is too smooth. The stock and grip are a bit off and also you may want to look closely at the front end of the receiver, which is stepped narrower (can't describe worth shit at this hour) right at the front end. The counterbalances on the Hog's wheels stick out way too far and on the whole it looks too chunky. The AR looks good from FP, I like that, and the pistol looks decent.
Keep at it.

I actually dig the statue of liberty chief. Looks pretty awesome to me. But then again, I hated how reflective he was in H3. Why would you paint armor in metallic colors? Why UNSC, WHY!?!?!?!?!
