I want to uninstall Fedora 10. It is on a partition which is taking up every byte of space on my HDD. I want to install XP, but Fedora 10 wont let me.

How do I get rid of Fedora 10? The computer has no important files on it, so any solution short of destroying/damaging the HDD would be helpful.

Burn a copy of Gpart. Delete the partition that Fedora is on, and reformat it to NTFS (all with the same program :D).

Have you tried putting in your XP disk and booting it at startup? You should be able to select and format the Fedora drive/partition in the Windows installer. Skips the Gparted step.

Tried, failed.

I was actually told to try Parted Magic (modified Gparted) instead to uninstal it. I'll try that when I get a chance to.

Parted Magic failed. While my more powerful Computer has Fedora stuck on it, I am posting this from a less powerful Windows PC. I can't open files compressed in Linux on this PC, and my Linux Com isn't working on the web. Anyone have just a plain ISO of GParted?
