View Full Version : 400 MS points and an urge to play an arcade game.

What should I get that would satisfy such urge, but is under 400MS points.

I'm looking at Small Arms maybe, tried the trail and found that fun. But I'm more wanting something unique yet still fun.

No, I have it (Doom) on my old Win '98 machine. No need for me to get it for my 360.

No. I see no point in spending 400MS points (my only 400MS points that I will probably not be replacing for quite a long time) on a gam I already have and have played it/it's sequels to death.

Anything with an original tone to it, and not a game that I don't want to play on my 360, and have wasted now 2.8 posts saying that.

Geometry Wars 2.

Not quite sure how many points it is but it is an AMAZING arcade game.

Don't get a game that you can't play for free (or at an ultra-low price) on another system or the computer. In fact many of the Arcade games are basically the same as those free web browser based games on the Internet, they just feature 3D graphics on a 2D plane.

If you can't get your hands on a Dreamcast and an emulator doesn't appeal to you, I'd recommend Soul Calibur. There's also a revamped Prince of Persia 1 (the original side scroller but with 3D visuals) that you might like. Or, just don't bother with the Arcade games.

Edit: Disregard that, it's 800 points.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is 400 points, but chances are you have played that game to death/would just emulate it.
