So I got a new case and all that jazz, fans galore, and I'm currently getting my 9800GT at around 45 C at the desktop and about 61 C in Crysis (maxed) whereas my last card was sitting at around 55 at the desktop, and about 70 - 80 in crysis.
Just curious as to what sort of temps other people get on their rigs.

My 4850 used to idle at 81 degrees, because ATI's drivers are bad at controlling fans. I've since sped up the fans, though, so it sits at ~60 degrees idle, and up to 95 degrees after a while playing games.

Download Nvidia Monitor from the Nvidia website if you don't have it, that'll tell you, or there are plenty of other 3rd party apps that will show you your temps.

Yeah my 8800GT goes up to 91C under full load.
I'ma need to check out its heatsink... that doesn't seem right. That is normal for an 8800GT. I put a Zalman VF900 on it a few days after buying mine and its peak load was then 55c :worship:

The problem is that's normal for stock fan speed (29%) -- mine is cranked to 75% and is the same temps.

My 9800M gs runs
@ 40-45 with one screen (1680by1050).
@ 45-50 with two screens (both 1680by1050).
@ 65-68 while gaming (ut3/crysis/gow)
temps in °C.

My 9600GSO runs at 47C Idle and 60C load, and that's at 100% fan speed. And it's not even loud compared to my other fans in my case.

HD3870 gives me 45-50 C idle. When under load, it usually maxes at ~70 C.
