Where did you expect it to go? The path to the scenario should be tags\levels\snowwars\snowwars.scenario.

What does tool say exactly upon compilation? Also, open debug.txt in your CE root directory. Then copy and paste the last entry into your next post.
Also, make sure your jms file is inside a "models" folder.

Is anything in there at all? A .scenario_structure_bsp? If not, I'd c+p the tool.exe output so we can see what's going on. If there is.... I don't know, just make a scenario? All tool does in automatic .scenario making is plug in a bsp tag at the bottom, so it's not like you're going to have to do much work.

tool structure levels\snowwars\snowwars snowwars
maybe? I haven't compiled a bsp in awhile, but i think it needs the full path including a filename, iirc.

so how do i do it by hand, and to all others i cant c/p it because i closed tool, tried it again and it did something diff, it came up with choices ( likein wk h guru's tut)

Those are the different shader choices you have for each material. The tutorial should cover them. Tool is doing what it is supposed to for compiling a bsp tag, there is no error.

You can't get the scenario until tool compiles correctly, which it isn't right now...

You have to choose shader types for each material first. Once that is done, run the command again.

and when does it compile correctly, this is what wk h guru tells you to do, and kirk..(halo hub)
and theres nothing about choosing anything from that list...
