That's up to Lucas...I sure hope he takes it back from whoever he gave it to, and returns it to Free Radical.

Look at how "A Clone Apart" (funny Battlefront Machinima) ended. Lucas sued them 3 episodes in.

Lucas arts will probably not give Free Radical their Battlefront 3 back. Free Radical will though probably revive the technology in a whole new game, that isn't in the Star Wars universe.
