As many of you probably know, recently Apple came up with 'iTunes Plus', essentially a feature of iTunes that offers higher quality, and DRM-free music and movies. However, there is a catch: if you enable iTunes Plus, you must pay an extra 30 cents per song and an extra 60 cents per video in American currency. You don't have to re-buy your music: you can simply upgrade your library (it costs the normal rate to upgrade of course). However, not only are iTunes Plus songs not really DRM-free, they're actually exactly the same minus the upping in quality, as the buyer's name is still encoded in the music. My question is: Is it worth it?
