Data Loss...but it isn't

So I haven't played Halo 3 in god knows how long, I sold it to gamestop and got some money for it. A day ago I borrow my friends copy to refresh myself with it, only to find myself without ANY skulls or ANY armor unlocks. I have all the achievements but my equipment is gone.

Any thoughts?

did you delete the data for it on the hard drive?

Did you try retrieving your Gamertag? Maybe that'll help.

That's probably it, recovering my gamertag. I did it twice over at my cousins house when I took my hard drive there and didn't do it when I took it back to my house. I can't, no internet access for my 360. :\

I had the same problem a while ago - I lost all armour, colours, gamesaves and skulls for no reason whatsoever :| But I have no idea why it happened, or how to fix it.

That happened to me when I was half way through Gears 2. Pissed me off so bad because I was really getting into the story.

This happened to me when I recovered my GT on a friends hard drive, so we could play splitscreen on our accounts. When I got home I had to re-recover it on my own hard drive for to get everything back.
