Alright, so I booted up my computer after installing AVG and running a scan last night. As soon as I log on to my account, I get an error msg saying that there's some problem with "abomobun.dll" in the system 32 folder. A pparently, this dll file somehow affects my internet. The local area connection appears to connect fine but my browsers and anything related to the internet does not work. I can't even connect to my router. I created a brand new account and still, i get the same msg.
I did a google search for abomobun.dll but it came up with nothing. even typing in "abomobun" alone does not come up with anything tech related.
Anybody got some insights as to what may be occuring? I'll be updating this post with a screenshot and HiJackThis log soon.
