My nose is a faucet. My sinus's feeling like something is sucking them back into my head. And every 5 minutes my eyes water.
Nyquil failed. Mucinex is crap. HELP ME. :gonk:

Something that has always helped me is to take a warm washcloth, lie down, and just breath slowly with the washcloth over your face. Always helped to clear my nose out and to keep my eyes from itching over.

Close your eyes, and sleep sitting up, that's what I did, and it was a nasty cold too :S

Get well soon... I know how it feels, my sinuses were impacted and that resulted in a nose bleed for about 2 days.

Eat a really hot pepper every so often. Really helps actually.
Suggest jalapenos

Get yourself some strong mints, crush them up and snort them.
In all seriousness, long hot bath, or shower, always helps.

At least you're not running a fever of 105.

aww babby's first cold
Consider yourself lucky. I have constant hayfever rain, hail or shine and it's triggered by anything and everything that finds its way up my nose. I have that every other week, and all but one hayfever medication I've tried is useless (the one that works being one that I don't have handy). Lie down, drink loads of hot tea, and find something to take your mind off of it.
Anyway, winter owns.

Take it like a man, shorty!
I never take any pills or medicines unless by doctor's orders (it's been at least 8 years since the latest) and I get by just fine. I get a full-on sinus sickness twice every year when the seasons change, and I just take it in stride, because I know it's my body's way of 'cleaning house' to prepare for the upcoming hot or cold weather. I wear shorts and a T-shirt all year round, so I'm quite exposed to the elements, and I find it to help in building up one's own immune system. I'm guessing it's a bit late for that suggestion to help you, however. Feel better!

Since we're both sick let's go cuddle and make each other feel better. ^_^

sit in a hot bath. as hot as you can handle. Nothing works better to clear the sinuses than boiling yourself alive.

Are your eyes itchy as well? Or do they suddenly just begin to water as if you've been staring at something forever?

Suddenly water.
I'm going to use a humidifier tonight and see if that helps.

Wow, almost everyone I know is sick...
but not me.
And, not so often, I get sick when not a lot of people should be sick D:
Get some strong peppermints, you'll love the feeling. Do some pushups/situps for temporary relief on your sinuses. Seriously.

Try to sweat it out, you will feel like shit while doing it but get some kind of physical exercise and a good sleep.

Nyquil failed? That thing is like a mini-nuke for your nasal cavity. It always works for me. Well, 6 hours at least.

This.
The Food Service manager at my job was having an allergy attack halfway into her shift, so she mader herself a plate of "nachos" (just chips and cheese, lol) with sliced jalapenos. Little shits are a natural decongestant. Just buck up and take the spice, it's gotta be better than struggling to breathe.

winter is freezing around here. It got down to like 3 days of 11 degrees last year. Set a new record. :saddowns:

I run outside everyday (even in -3 degree wind chill a few weeks back...) and I've only gotten sick like once for the past year and a half. Guess you could say I'm lucky.

We're out of jalapenos! :gonk:
I'll get my friend to buy me subway today and I'll get extra jalapenos on it. I guess my colon can take one more for the team.

Try eating something spicy, such as horseraddish, it will clean out your sinuses pretty well, but might not taste so good :(.
Good luck!

So my throat is only slightly irritated now meaning that my cough has just about subsided. My nose is very close to a state of normality, and my colon now soft, tight and ready to use.
I would like to thank Delsym and Sudafed.
