Well, in my absence from class last week my ENC1102 class decided on a topic for our final research paper (40% of our grade...) and the topic is sex/sexuality.

By Friday I need to choose a focus for my paper, narrowing down the topic and choosing what I want to write about, but I'm coming up dry on topic ideas.

Personally, I think it's a stupid topic, but whatever.

Anyway, some of the things other students are doing are: Prostitution (too broad by it self but they are narrowing it down), Sex and the Media (influences, etc), and homosexuality.

I want something interesting and somewhat out of the norm to write about, something interesting....so give me ideas.

There is an odd experiment, where sounds associated with a certain action over and over again can produce the action subconsciously. we have some ideas and hypotheses but it's not accepted as fact yet. it's just "we know this affects it, this, this and that, but what sets it off is still new ground"
