Cool video Heathen showed me of some of the tech out there giving us a "Six Sense".
I think it's interesting.

Thats really cool to me. I think its a little unusual and awkward at the present time, but after a while and a good bit of development, this could be really useful.
My biggest beef with MS Surface was its immobility.

I'd buy that just to look as cool as Tom Cruise in Minority Repor- WAIT!

That's absolutely amazing. I can't wait till we figure out how to make screens without projecting on anything.

Yeah, I couldn't think of that word at the time, so I explained it.

What did she mean by "brain implant" at the end of the video? I really like this device (has it been named yet?), but is it going to still go around your neck by the final product or is it really something implanted into someones head? (Highly doubt it, but just checking..)

Hardly a "sixth sense".
I like how she said you don't open your phone and access google or a browser or whatever, but the device around your neck interacts with your phone.:ugh:
Just another media/information access point.

1) Hardly a "sixth sense".
2) I like how she said you don't open your phone and access google or a browser or whatever, but the device around your neck interacts with your phone.:ugh:
Just another media/information access point.
1) True, but they're trying to replicate the ability or "sense" of being able to "just know" stuff about whatever you interact with.
2) I have a Blackberry Storm, and I'd use it to review toilet paper if required. She obviously doesn't know what she's talking about!

But they even know that at the current time it is very impractical and somewhat useless at the time.
Its mainly a proof of concept, ya know?

It's a great idea, I'd love to see it evolved a bit more in the future. Yes it's possible to look this stuff up using your blackberry, but the ability for device to instantly recognize what you want and give it to you is totally different, especially in such a visual and intuitive way.
