View Full Version : I need a good headache medicine/pill

What's a good headache pill that can relieve your headache quick, without drowsiness(optional), and so your body won't get used to it to the point that it's not effective anymore. Like the one's you see on TV where someone's headache disappears after 15 minutes or so? No, I do not have any chronic headache disorder.

All I can think of is ibuprofen, but that takes a bit more time to work.

I've had a headache for about 3 days and popping Tylenol doesn't help... get some sleep!

Other than that, I'd go with Excedrin or the 500mg horse-pills (not really of course) I usually take.

Well I have a "chronic headache dosorder" and they gave me this

Amidrine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amidrine)

It works wonders.

This won't work because headaches tend to hinder my ability to exercise efficiently and making me drowsy won't help me. :(

Also, has anyone tried HeadOn? If so, does it actually work?

Works pretty well for most people, makes it worse for others. I guess it depends on the person.

Extra Strength Tylenol or advil liquid gels normally work for my normal work headache
