Can't read game/movie dvd's

I recently reformatted my old computer, and in the process i guess i lost some important stuff. my pc is no longer able to read games, or movies. only Music CD's..... anyone know what i have to do to fix this?

Driver issue? I had this before, I think I fixed it with drivers.

well i updated all the drives and my computer says it's up to date, but it's not lol.. and DEL(the manufacturer) has no drivers for my drive.
