Hey, for kicks I took the english version of Platinum, edited one of the first starter pokemon, the fire type chimp called "Chimchar". I had based it off Twilight Princess's Twili Messengers, but sinces it's a "chimp" I made him an imp.

Now, the quality is bad because I dont have a good camera around, my DSi is the only camera I have...so with 0.3 MP it isnt going to look swell.

I would like comments on this, either rates/hates or just plain talk.

Also, this was captured on a real DS, not on an Emulator.

I am making changes however, his front sprite (aka the opponents pokemon) hasnt been changed. Changing it now.

These are custom made Pokemon, not made by me. I merely took them off a game called "Shoddy Battle" which allows you to battle online with your computer. However, since these are custom made, they aren't "real pokemon" so they won't be on any server except the CAP (Create-A-Pokemon) Server.

The first one is Kitsunoh, a Steel/Ghost type Pokemon, it's purpose was meant to be the "Ultimate Scout" however I feel (like many others) that it serves much better with other means.

The next one is Syclant, a Bug/Ice Pokemon. High Attack, Special Attack, and Speed make it quite a force. To me it's pretty cool how it was made.

The last one is Revenankh, a Ghost/Fighting Pokemon, this is meant to be a "Tank", and it has the stats to prove it.

By the way, I had to edit 3 sprites, this includes their front and back sprites, AND hex edit the data so that the whole thing fits to what they need (Typing, Stats, Ability, etc.)

I find pokemon mods fun, but I found a hack of gold called "Pokemon Prism" and you actually fight the power rangers (the original ones), it was funny to whoop their ass with a larvitar (starter in prism) and a few other.

fakemon (fake pokemon) are fun too, I'm currently playin a firered hack called "chaos black", good mod. chose tis little lion-esque fire type as my starter, named him dogmeat (madmax and Fallout 3)

moding games has always been fun and hoppefully you'll move past sprite edits to full blown modding and the likes...

pkmn prism is an IPS patch so its safe for me to provide a link...but jsut google it, the hack isn't finished, but try out pokemon brown (red version hack), thats fun and its more challenging than the original pkmn red

Believe it or not, there was a pretty good project going to make a total conversion of Halo in Pokemon on, of all places, Halomaps. Of course, as such, it died. But there was a lot of thought put into it, especially for Halomaps.

Tell me guys, which one looks cooler (This is based on Shadow Lugia on Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness)

The first one (Left) is a Lugia recolored with Darkrai's palette. The last one (Right) is when I pasted the Lugia Edit over the Original Lugia Sprite. The colors are "messed up" because of the palette change.

But I was thinking, the right one looks MORE like Shadow Lugia, than the one on the Left.

I use to use CycloDS, but when I got the Nintendo DSi, It didnt work with it. I now use Acekard 2i, which works with the DSi.

This is a custom Pokemon I made, all by myself :D

His name is Magnetkid, a small Pokemon with 3 magnets, two as hands while the last one is on his head. This allows Magnekid to attach itself to magnetize to any metallic object. Since he is also an electric type, he can shoot electricity from the magnets. He is based on Pikachu. He can be found near factories and power plants, gathering electricity from generators and wires for power.

I will admit I did absolutely nothing important. Bowser was ripped from Super Mario Galaxy 2, using programs that are not mine. All I did was use them to obtain said model. The only one thing I did was fix the material ID's because all the model pieces were using one material, when there were multiple textures.
