ok, so Im playing CE and for some reason now a days I get large lag spikes for no reason I'm thinkin the new server apps combined with people upping the amount of people allowed in the servers is the problem...

any ideas why this laptop is having lag spikes now when none used to occur (i've reinstalled CE and PC several times and it doesnt fix the problems)


so any ideas on how to fix?


and to be off topic real quick please don't mistake me for either sever or teh lag on CE folks, I've used sever lag since v1 of CE. the name is intentional as it means "to cut off lag"

so how to fix so I can enjoy this wonderful game

I would mistake you for sever, but not teh_gag.

It sounds like a network problem on yourside...try playing in a game where theres only 1 or 2 people.

Are you using wireless too?

yes, but I've never had problems with this setup maybe its the new server apps, or the new patch that diosabled CD check
