Im curious as to what everyone here thinks of it, the board supposedly supports SLI/CF which should in theory make it rather future proof.

Have fun paying a pretty penny to saturate that 24GB of RAM...seriously, there's not much point in having more than 8GB unless you are running a server, and even with today's games, 4GB is usually enough to see you through.

It is a nice board though...

2GB is enough to play anything out there right now, 4GB is better, 8GB is a waste right now, as is anything more than that.

I do believe Warsaw said something about servers... Which generally benefit from the additional memory. 8GB is great if you do any kind of creative rendering stuff such as special effects, video editing, photoshop work, modeling, etc...

Today, I ran the Crysis editor, Avast, four Firefox windows, and one window of Runescape (I thought it would sate my MMORPG fix. I was wrong.) before I maxed out my 4gigs of ram. 8 gigs is plenty for pretty much everything.
