Halo 3 Gamenight

Sorry for the short notice, but I thought tonight (3/27) would be a good time to get some of us together for some Halo 3 fun (mainly because I got InnerGoat to blow the dust off his 360, HEH).

Here's a list, and some explanations of the maps and gametypes. If you have something interesting to contribute, post your gametype and/or map and we'll consider it.

Games we will be playing in no particular order:
LaserBall (Oddball) on River (Valhalla)
LaserBall (Oddball) on Silo (Standoff)
LaserBall (Oddball) on Relay (Snowbound)
LaserBall (Oddball) on Temple (Sandtrap)
Flamefest (Slayer) on Heat Exchange (Cold Storage)
Intermission: Forge on Catipult (Sandtrap)

LaserBall is:
Oddball, 250 points to win.
1pt/second with ball, 4pts/ball kill, 2pts/ball carrier kill, 1pt/kill
Ball carrier has visible waypoint to all players
Spawn with Spartan Laser and Energy Sword, no weapons,grenades, or vehicles on map.
300% speed, 75% gravity.
Enhanced Motion Tracker, 75m.

Flamefest is:
First and foremost, a modded gametype. Do NOT put this in your fileshare. It is safe to play (I've played it a million times and I've yet to get a ban).
Slayer, 25 points to win.
Spawn with Flamethrowers.
150% speed.

River is Valhalla with spawn point changes, all equipment, scenery, vehicles, and weapons removed from the map.

Silo is Standoff with spawn point changes, all equipment, scenery, vehicles, and weapons removed from the map. Bases are blocked off, and the map is littered with mancannons.

Relay is Snowbound with spawn point changes, all equipment, scenery, vehicles, and weapons removed from the map. Bases and underground. are blocked off.

Temple is Sandtrap with spawn point changes, all equipment, scenery, vehicles, and weapons removed from the map. Gravity lifts and mancannons are placed in a key places.

Heat Exchange is Cold Storage with all equipment and weapons removed from the map. Firebombs are placed throughout, and there is a mancannon in the main chamber. Shield doors are strategically placed.

Catipult is Sandtrap with a bunch of disabled teleporters, a couple radio antennae, and drop pods help by a gravity lift. Killing the gravity lift will drop the pots onto the radio antennae, effectively catapulting anything on them towards the other side of the map. Single people, mongeese, warthogs, and ghosts work best.

I'm up for it. I still couldn't find my copy of Halo 3 but my friend let me borrow his for the weekend. The only thing is that my Gold subscription expires tomorrow, so hopefully it doesn't expire in the middle of a game or something. I wonder what would happen if it did...

I found this map once where a guy (in Sandtrap) attached a Hornet (using boxes and crap) to each Elephant, enabling them to fly.

If I could find it, it would probably make another good intermission map.
