Fuck yeah, hopefully a Need for Speed game without the crappy street racing gangsta bullshit.

Graphics spike my interest. This looks like a good game. Especially since they put focus into the 1st person camera, which will definitely shake the genre around a little bit.

Racing games have always had pretty insane graphics, because they can afford it when all that's really going on is a bunch of cars moving around a set path.

Those screens do look pretty beautiful, though; do I spy Big Ben in the background there?

I might just buy a racing wheel for this one.

I dont really like set roads for racing.

I dont like turfs that much either.. but I dont enjoy games like Nascar.

The graphics look kick ass though. :)

Cool stuff. Never been much of a racing fan (I always use cheat codes to unlock all the cars because I just wanna drive that Lambo out of the box), but the graphics are hot stuff.

*they better have some four-door sports cars in there*

Street racing without completely enclosed areas was what Need For Speed was all about. Now that they did this shit, they offset the groove of what it was about, and just created another gay racing simulator. NFS was one of my favorite racing game franchises, and I have all of them for various systems.

Ugh. Way go go EA, yet another fuck up.

Why didn't you stop buying them after you started noticing they had a recurring theme of fail to them after Most Wanted?

That looks damn good... I would love to see those graphics on a Need For Speed: Underground 3 game before I buy though.

Carbon was good, it brought back some stuff that Underground had. And ProStreet I barely played, because my PC hated it. But them pulling shit like this makes me want to set all of the older ones on fire. They seriously fucked the franchise.

Almost looks as good as Burnout Paradise, except worse!

Then again, I hate closed circuit racing games, and Burnout Paradise is the only racing game that I've ever really liked.

I only have Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit 2, both for PC (HP2 is still cool btw, and it runs well on my netbook, that's a bonus). I really like the police pursuit features in NFS.

Speaking about physical racing wheels, I borrowed one before, it's fun but not worth it imo. I just plug in my x360 gamepad as the analog sticks are better than the keyboard for such games.

Try FlatOut, set roads are non-existant.

i think it's a great idea.

god knows the racing car genre needed something original to add to the clones of itself.

i mean it was basically, cars, tracks, settings, visuals, add-ons, customization.
and that was pretty much it in the genre.
just take a bit from all the columns and focus in what column you want your game to be about.
